Glazeguard are pleased to offer complete glass floor solutions
from single glass panel supply to complex multi- modular
glass and tray installation.
Glazed floors provide tremendous opportunities for providing
natural lighting solutions throughout a building whilst
adding a special and individual architectural and artistic
statement.
Varying glass finishes and design perameters allow incredible
freedom of design and expression.
Consider the inclusion of tinted glasses, coloured interlayers
and endless sandblasted surface finishes. Standard glass
floor modules comprise of two leaves of annealed glass
laminated together from 32mm-53mm. The thicker leaf should
be glazed uppermost with the thinner lower leaf providing
integrity in the unlikely event that the upper panel shears.
Floorguard frames are offered in treated hardwood or powder
- coated steel to standard RAL colours. Floorguard is
offered as a three stage packaged product:

Glass and modular tray supply and delivery
3.Complete
package design and installation
We recommend that all Floorguard products are retained in a
Floorguard steel frame and we strongly recommend that all glass
floor products are installed in four edge supported frames and
in accordance with our standard details available on request.
Note: Calculation of glass floor loadings is carried out in
accordance with BS6399:Pt1 where accurate concentrated and uniform
loadings are provided. We strongly suggest that all specifications
are verified by the project engineer prior to order.
