The growth in population and the lack of available
land for housing developments and commercial
construction is forcing people to live and
work in situation where the noise of modern
day life impinges on their everyday activities.
Undesirable noise is well recognised as affecting
people’s health, concentration and ability
to work efficiently. Much noise emanates from
increasing road use, air traffic and railways
as well as from neighbours and social activities.
A range of Soundguard products are available,
which offer solutions to these noise sources
by controlling the frequency of sound which
is transmitted through glass.
Five products are available using specially formulated
cast in place resin laminates. These special resins
are designed to improve the acoustic de-coupling
of laminated glass surfaces and enhance sound
reduction performance.
Orders are tailored to the application by altering
glass and interlayer combinations to meet the
highest of acoustic specifications. Glazeguard
offers a range of acoustic laminates which are
ideal for controlling noise sources, from road
traffic and factory machinery through to aircraft
and sound studio’s.
